Service & Maintenance

To keep your Vässla working well and lasting longer, it is important that you regularly check and take care of it.

Here you will find a brief overview of what you can check yourself, when it might be good to get help from a workshop, and what is important to consider regarding service, Battery, and storage.

Regular check

We recommend that you regularly check the product, especially if it is used often, has been unused for a long time, or if something feels different.

Please check:

  • brakes

  • tires and tire pressure

  • screws and fastenings

  • lighting and reflectors

  • Battery and charger

  • handlebars, saddle, and other adjustable parts

  • general condition

If something feels loose, damaged, or unsafe, the product should not be used until it has been checked.

Service

Some checks you can do yourself if you feel confident. Feel free to use our manuals and service checklists where available.

If you are unsure, lack the right tools, or suspect a technical fault, we recommend contacting a workshop or reaching out to us for guidance.

Please save documentation from service, for example:

  • date

  • completed service checklist

  • pictures

  • receipt from workshop

It can be useful to have if you need to contact us later.

Battery and charging

The Battery is affected by use, charging, temperature, and storage. To keep the Battery in good condition, we recommend that you:

  • use an approved charger

  • charge the Battery according to instructions

  • avoid letting the Battery become completely discharged

  • store the Battery dry and frost-free

  • protects the Battery from moisture, impact, extreme heat, and cold

  • do not open or modify the Battery

It is normal for the battery capacity to decrease over time.

Storage

If the product is not used for an extended period, such as during winter, it should be stored dry and protected.

Please keep in mind:

  • clean the product before storage

  • charge the battery according to instructions

  • check the battery regularly

  • avoid letting the battery become completely discharged

  • check tires, brakes, and screws before using the product again

Cleaning

Clean the product gently with a soft cloth and mild cleaner.

Avoid high-pressure washing, strong chemicals, and spraying directly on the battery, motor, display, connectors, or other electronics.
